Some of you may have heard that Gray Area was presented with the opportunity to lease a 400 square foot space at 984 Market St by the owners of the Warfield building, David and Jamie Addington. With all of the excitement around the proposed Mid-Market/Tenderloin Cultural District we felt that we needed to further our footprint and provide more opportunity for our community to be involved.
Please join us Today, March 25th from 4:30 – 6:30 to Celebrate the Grand Opening of Blue Sparrow Pilates and a soft opening for the Gray Area Start-Up Project, Archetype, located in the Warfield Building on Market Street. Meet the instructors and designers now calling Mid-Market home. Also, get a sneak preview of the Warfield Office Condominiums.
Our new space on Market will serve as the Archetype concept store with themed fashion and product installations every 2 months. With an emphasis on wearables, this unique product-focused space will support emerging local and international designers around the principles of technologically-inspired and sustainability-minded fashion. Spearheaded by GAFFTA Fashion Initiatives Lead, Melissa Marie and Creative Director for Archetype Boutique, Jarred Garza, Archetype will extend GAFFTA’s mission of building social consciousness through digital culture onto the runway and into the marketplace.

Afterwards, head over to Show Dogs to celebrate spring with hot dogs, beer and live music! Show Dogs’ festivities begin at 6pm and guests will enjoy passed bar bites, Show Dogs’ signature dogs and a selection of local microbrews on tap. Entry to the event is $20 and proceeds will help support the San Francisco City Academy, located two blocks from Show Dogs – a non-profit organization committed to providing a quality, private elementary school for the inner-city children of San Francisco.
