The Design Research Lab at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories, Berlin, is currently looking for an intern (f/m) in the area of embodied interaction / physical computing / tangible interaction design.
If interested, candidates would be offered existing research activities (e.g. weight- and shape-based interaction with mobile phones) to engage in much space for original ideas, from quick and dirty prototypes to high-quality implementations.
As the ideal candidate, you’re a highly creative designer, able to express your ideas through: Adobe Flash, Premiere, Illustrator, etc. improvisation with duct tape, clay, LEGO technic, etc. Arduino, Processing, etc. hacked printers and Wii-motes or whatever suits your ideas.
Plus, interested candidates should bring along:
-motivation 24/7
-fluent English (written and spoken), German would be a plus
-experience in interaction design or similar studies.
The internship is paid (800 Euros/month before taxes).
